What we are looking for

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Scrum Master to join our team, dedicated to fostering agile excellence and continuous improvement. In this role, you will facilitate agile processes, coach teams towards high performance, and introduce innovative ways of working that boost
team maturity and productivity. Your success is when you can remove yourself from a specific squad and move to a newly formed one! You will be central in guiding the team through agility practices, ensuring they align with the organization’s agile transformation goals.

Responsibilities

1. Facilitation of Agile Practices
○ Guide and facilitate scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning,
refinements, reviews, and retrospectives.
○ Ensure that agile principles and practices are implemented effectively, adapting
where necessary to meet team needs.

2. Coaching and Development
○ Act as an agile coach to the team, promoting a culture of continuous
improvement and learning.
○ Mentor team members and other stakeholders in agile principles and practices to
enhance their understanding and effectiveness.


3. Team Maturity and Improvement
○ Assess the team’s agile maturity and develop action plans to advance their
proficiency.
○ Encourage and implement innovative ways of working to enhance team
productivity and collaboration.


4. Removing Impediments
○ Identify and remove blockers and impediments to ensure the team can focus on
delivering value.
○ Work with squad leads and collaborate with other teams and departments to
resolve dependencies and promote seamless workflows.


5. Stakeholder Engagement
○ Engage with product owners, squad leads and stakeholders to ensure
transparency and alignment on priorities and deliverables.
○ Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between the team and
external stakeholders.

6. Metrics and Reporting
○ Monitor key agile metrics such as velocity, burndown/burnup charts, and cycle
time to provide insights into team performance.
○ Use data-driven insights to support the team’s growth and improvement
strategies.


7. Agile Transformation Support
○ Contribute to the organization’s agile transformation initiatives, sharing best
practices and lessons learned.
○ Advocate for agile principles across the organization and participate in
community of practice forums or workshops.
