The Mid-Level Sound Engineer is responsible for managing audio post-production projects independently from preparation through final delivery. This role combines strong technical expertise, creative sound design skills, and the ability to ensure broadcast compliance for TV and Digital platforms.
The Mid-Level Sound Engineer works closely with clients, participates in briefing sessions, and ensures high-quality sound output while meeting strict deadlines.
• Perform advanced voice recording cleaning and dialogue editing
• Edit and prepare music tracks according to creative direction
• Adjust music levels
• Execute full mix and master for TV and Digital according to provided technical specifications
• Generate synchronized sound mixes for client validation
• Conduct quality control to ensure technical and creative accuracy
• Create original sound design elements and develop sound plans when required
• Manage voice-over recording sessions independently
• Prepare final mix and master from client-submitted materials (music, VO, SFX, direct sound cleanup)
• Provide music research and consulting based on client references
• Prepare and maintain organized project backups and archives
• Participate in client briefings and production meetings
• Ensure all deliverables meet deadline and broadcast requirements
